The 2007 Conference Committee for the National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NCBW) proudly announces that our 13 th Biennial Conference – NCBW at 25: Celebrating Our Legacy of Leadership – will be held in Baltimore, Maryland, later this year.  Scheduled for October 3–7 at the BWI Airport Marriott Hotel, the conference is an opportunity for our members and local community leaders to learn from the best strategic partnership practices of chapters from all over the country.  More than 3,500 NCBW delegates, members and local community leaders have been invited to attend.

We cordially invite you and your company to participate in the conference by sponsoring one of the designated levels. Our plenary sessions and workshops are designed to present our national program areas: health, education and economic development. Specifically, the plenary and workshop sessions scheduled will be devoted to the following:

  • Leadership Training: National leadership will address future NCBW goals; leadership issues related to chapter activities, such as membership recruitment and retention and succession planning; and development of leadership skills.
  • Education: Presidents of Historically Black Colleges and Universities will discuss their preparation of young women for the real world.
  • Economic Development: Entrepreneurs in different areas of the business world discuss franchises, investments, tools needed for financial independence and insurance.
  • Health: A panel of experts will address health disparities in the areas of breast cancer, heart disease, diabetes and HIV/AIDS among Black women.
  • Gender Equity: A panel of experts will focus on gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic development.

We offer strategic marketing, underwriting and branding opportunities for our corporate partners. In addition, partners will be able to interact with many local and national elected officials, policymakers and corporate leaders.
